This kitchen transformation began with yellow walls, laminate countertops, a rotten subfloor, and outdated cabinets. We carefully removed the original wood cabinets, had them stripped and refinished, and replaced the brass hardware with sleek black fixtures. The rotten sections of the subfloor were replaced, and we installed luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring that beautifully complements the hardwood floors in the living room. The countertops were upgraded to elegant stone, paired with a stylish tile backsplash. The walls and trim received a fresh coat of paint, brightening the entire space. We modernized the lighting and added a convenient pop-up outlet on the island. The old arched window over the sink was replaced with a new energy-efficient rectangular window free from the clutter of the grids on the previous window. To complete the update, we installed a new farmhouse undermount sink and a contemporary faucet, bringing both functionality and charm to the heart of the home.
