Basement Bathroom Addition
This unfinished basement space began with only exterior wall framing and basic drain locations in place. From that starting point, the bathroom was built out and completed as a fully finished, functional space.
We framed the shower enclosure, installed new supply lines for the shower and vanity, added electrical circuits, lighting, and power, and completed all finish work throughout the room. The project required coordination between structural framing, plumbing layout, and finish detailing to ensure everything functioned properly within the existing basement footprint.
The completed bathroom includes a custom-tiled shower with a floating bench and integrated niche for storage. A butcher block countertop was selected for both the vanity and storage cabinet, then carefully finished to provide warmth and durability against the tiled surroundings.
The result is a thoughtfully constructed basement bathroom that feels fully integrated with the home — not like an afterthought.
This addition demonstrates how careful planning and coordinated systems work can turn unfinished square footage into a seamless, functional extension of the home.
